What is Virtual Reality?

Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer generated simulation of an alternate environment. Virtual reality technology encapsulates the user's senses so that they feel completely immersed in the simulated environment. The user has the ability to explore their new environment by looking around in their full 360 simulation. The experience is so immersive that it blurs the lines between the users virtual and real realities.

What can I expect at VIVID?

VIVID is an immersive VR experience center that provides audiences with a truly next level immersive film experience. At your showtime, you will be fitted with an individual pod and VR technology with one of our VR experts. You will be taken through a VR tutorial to learn how to control and immersive yourself within the simulated environments. 3 short films, each between 5 to 10 minutes in length will play in sequence. Our VR technology and immersive space is designed so that you feel fully immersed and can explore the new environment without interruption.

Can I interact with the environment in Virtual Reality?

Each film is a 360 degree experience. You have the option to choose where to look in all directions and what narrative to focus on which makes every experience different. You cannot interact directly with the environment but you can explore by choosing where to focus.

When should I arrive before my showtime?

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your showtime. The VR tutorial starts exactly at the time of your specified showtime.

Are there any age limitations?

You must be 14 years old or older to participate in the experience due to the nature of the immersive technology.

Will I get motion sickness?

The technology is very immersive and can disrupt the viewers motion tracking senses. If after your first film, you are not able to continue with the experience, we'll happily provide you with a full refund.

I wear glasses, will I be able to participate?

VR technology allows you to change the focus so that your vision is always crystal clear in virtual reality whether you have 20/20 vision or not.

Can I make a refund or exchange?

For now, all purchases are final.
